Harvey Barkin
Harvey Barkin is an award-winning syndicated writer. He was a Sr. Buyer for Silicon Valley contract manufacturers and R&Ds in the late 1980s. Then he became a contract Technical Writer after writing book reviews for Small Press, Rhode Island, then Independent Publisher, Michigan in the 1990s. Later, he contributed stories to Filipinas magazine, Philippine News and feature treatments of marketing copy for Manila Mail. He edited Filipino Insider magazine in mid-2000. Currently, he is Correspondent for FilAm Star, Inquirer.Net and positivelyfilipino.com. His stories have also appeared in different media including B2B websites, Valley Catholic and Inside Kung-fu magazine.
