Power ng Pinoy TV, Now on Season 3

Oct. 17, 2013SAN FRANCISCOPower ng Pinoy TV Show, now on its 3rd season, aired its first episode last Sunday, October 13.  The show subsequently runs at 7pm every Sunday evenings for 13 weeks on GMA Pinoy TV.

Power ng Pinoy TV Show is a weekly 30-minute TV program that features inspirational and success stories of Filipino shakers and movers. Produced in a documentary format, Power ng Pinoy introduces and salutes successful individuals, groups and corporations that continue to make a difference in the lives of Filipinos in the U.S. and in the Philippines.

This third season, Power ng Pinoy proudly presents a powerhouse of successful Filipinos in entertainment, media and creative industry. Episode 1 on October 13th featured the very popular standup comic Rex Navarrete who talked about breaking the glass ceiling.  Episode 2 this coming Sunday, October 19th, highlights highly recognized host, singer and veteran actor Bernardo Bernardo. Upcoming episodes include radio personality and cancer survivor Fresca Griarte, ABC host Tony Cabrera, choreographer and business owners Johnny Veloso and Francisco Gella, fashion designer and KTLA fashion correspondent Alexis Monsanto, activist Francisco Tanseco, comic book writer/artist Whilce Portacio, multi-awarded actress Rhoda Lopez, and journalist and writer Ben Pimentel.Also featured are successful entrepreneurs and business professionals including CEO of Sterling HSA Cora Tellez, husband-and-wife entrepreneurs Art and Yolly Pamintuan, restaurateur Barry Picazo, and serial entrepreneur Winston Damarillo.

Advocating the success of these guests is Power ng Pinoy’s way of giving back to the community. Sharing the stories of those who have reached the top inspire and empower fellow Filipinos to zealously pursue their goals and overcome obstacles encountered along the way.  Power ng Pinoy and its guests seek to inspire everyone to believe, dream, achieve and give back full circle.
