Fil-Am Best-Selling Author With Her Latest Psychological Thriller Novel

Fil-Am bestselling author Geraldine Solon did a book signing of her latest novel entitled “Thiry Days of Red” during the recent Summber Book Signing and Sale event organized by the Fremont Area Writers  on July 18 at the Fremont Main Library.

The event showcased the works of various authors which include books ranging from adult fiction, young adult fiction, memoir, mystery, poetry, and more.

 

About Geraldine Solon:

Best-selling and award-winning author, Geraldine Solon is known for her heartfelt, gripping stories and distinct characters. At an early age of eight, Geraldine who grew up in the Philippines wrote poems, essays and short stories, and often daydreamed in class instead of paying attention to her teachers. While she set her childhood hobby aside to focus on other ventures, Geraldine found that writing stories provided her true solace and calmed her restless nature.IMG_5339
 
Two decades later and now living in the San Francisco Bay area, Geraldine entertained the idea of writing again and decided to turn her hobby into a career. In 2011, Geraldine launched her debut novel, Love Letters which reached the overall Top 100 Amazon Bestseller List. The novel won various awards including the 2011 Beach Book Festival for the Romance category. An independent producer fell in love with Love Letters and optioned the book for film. Geraldine was also the previous Managing Editor of fashion and lifestyle magazine, Gastronomique en Vogue. 
When she’s not writing, Geraldine enjoys traveling, reading books, watching movies and island hopping. Her latest project is to promote literacy by building libraries in remote areas of third world countries called, A Library for Hope.
Synopsis of “Thirty Days of Red”

Shortly after Liv Walters’ husband, David slips into a coma, she discovers he planned to leave her. Desperate to run away from her doomed marriage, Liv embarks on a Mediterranean cruise where she begins a thirty-day wisdom project and embraces a new identity―Red. But life as Red isn’t what she hopes for. As David slowly recovers, Liv can no longer run away from the demons that haunt her and wishes to restore their relationship. Little does Liv know that David intends to destroy her life in thirty days.
